Omni Cares internship | Culinary
Overview
The Omni Care Internship Program is a hands-on training opportunity designed for individuals looking to gain experience in various aspects of the hotel business. This position serves as a "utility player" rotating through different departments and roles based on the property's needs.
Responsibilities
- Flexible in working various entry-level service positions within the property.
- Rotate between food and beverage outlets and banquet events.
- Attend to and anticipate guest needs.
- Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in scheduling.
- Show excellent teamwork.
- Attend Omni Care Internship training and enrichment seminars throughout the season.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Operations Leader.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal required.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Previous experience in a customer service position preferred.
- Willingness to learn and take on different projects.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments.
- Must be able to walk, sit, stand, and squat during daily business for extended periods of time.
- Able and Food Handler certifications are required.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
