Olympiad Mathematician | Remote

Contribute to research-grade physics benchmarks used to evaluate advanced language models. Solve, review, and validate complex physics problems across multiple specialized subfields. Work asynchronously with a fully remote, flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Solve, review, and validate complex physics problems across multiple specialized subfields.
• Help produce fully human-verified reference solutions for frontier physics reasoning.
• Maintain high standards of mathematical precision and problem difficulty.
• Evaluate AI-generated solutions for correctness and clarity.

Requirements

• Strong relevant experience in Olympiad-style mathematics and problem setting.
• Experience as a math competition problem writer, selection committee member, medalist, or participant.
• Proficiency in evaluating AI-generated solutions for correctness and clarity.

Pay

$54–$93 per hour ($80–$135 per hour for selected candidates), with weekly payouts via Stripe or Wise.

Schedule

Typical commitment of ~10 hours per week over an 8–10 week project window, with flexibility for 10–40 hours per week. Independent contractor engagement with opportunities for project extensions.
