Okta Architect

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Okta Architect with a proven track record of designing and executing end-to-end identity migrations at massive scale.

Responsibilities

• Must have hands-on experience leading an end-to-end migration involving an 8–10 million user base. Candidates without demonstrated experience managing migrations at this scale may not be considered.
• Handle complex, enterprise-scale identity transformations and demonstrate successful delivery of a multi-million-user migration from planning through implementation and stabilization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of overall IT/software development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing Okta solutions in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Proven experience architecting and executing end-to-end Okta/identity migrations, preferably involving 8–10 million users.
• Strong understanding of identity federation and authentication protocols, including:
  • SAML
  • OAuth
  • OIDC
  • SCIM
  • LDAP
  • WS-Federation
• Hands-on expertise with:
  • Okta Identity Engine (OIE)
  • Okta Identity Governance (OIG)
  • Okta Workflows
  • Okta APIs and custom integrations
• Experience working across multi-cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Strong architecture, solution design, and enterprise integration experience.
• Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to translate complex identity and security requirements into clear business outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline preferred.

Pay

$65/hr - $70/hr
