Oklahoma State Univ - Summer 2027 Internships

Each summer, a select group of highly motivated college students joins our 10-to-12-week internship program. Through meaningful projects, mentorship from leaders, cross-functional collaboration, and professional development opportunities, you'll build your skills while making an immediate impact. Along the way, you'll be encouraged to think creatively, act courageously, work collaboratively, and strive for excellence. About the role

• Assist technical services and operations in engineering, compression, measurement, controls, pipeline integrity, land, and environmental-related work.
• Conduct studies, evaluations, research, and design.
• Eventually lead small projects in the above-mentioned areas.

Locations

Internships will be in Tulsa, Oklahoma; Houston, Texas; Salt Lake City, Utah; or at one of our field locations. A $2,500 housing stipend will be provided. Additional relocation assistance will be given for those moving more than 50 miles from their home and school address.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of Williams' core business and operating areas.
• Gather and analyze real-time data to identify efficiencies and ensure proper asset maintenance.
• Build credibility with customers by contributing to major projects and capital expansions.
• Collaborate with various teams across operating areas and fields to achieve enterprise goals.
• Follow and support Williams Values.
• Work schedule is generally Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week; hybrid schedule may be available.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Engineering Intern

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in chemical, civil, electrical, environmental, energy, mechanical, or petroleum engineering, with a graduation date of December 2027 or beyond.
• This position is not eligible for sponsorship, OPT, or CPT.
• Must possess a valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Willingness and ability to relocate for the summer to our engineering internship locations.

Finance & Accounting Intern

• Enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree within Finance or Accounting with a graduation date of December 2027 or beyond.
• This position is not eligible for sponsorship, OPT, or CPT.
• Must possess a valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Willingness and ability to relocate for the summer to our F&A internship locations.

General Business/Information Technology Intern

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree within Business/Data Analytics, Economics, Energy Management, Financial Engineering, AI Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Data Science, or an MBA with a graduation date of December 2027 or beyond.
• This position is not eligible for sponsorship, OPT, or CPT.
• Must possess a valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Willingness and ability to relocate for the summer to our business internship locations.

Pay

Engineering Intern

Pay is a nonnegotiable, hourly rate determined by graduation date:

• Master's Program: $47.60
• Fall 2027 - Spring 2028: $43.30
• Summer 2028, Fall 2028, and Spring 2029: $38.50
• Summer 2029 and beyond: $33.70

Finance & Accounting Intern

Pay is a nonnegotiable, hourly rate determined by graduation date:

• Master's Program: $35.70
• Fall 2027 - Spring 2028: $32.50
• Summer 2028, Fall 2028, and Spring 2029: $28.80
• Summer 2029 and beyond: $25.20
