Essential Job Duties
- Review and interpret shop floor paperwork prior to assembly
- Read and follow drawings, SOPs, blueprints, and/or wiring diagrams
- Properly assemble finished good (mechanical and electrical) to quality standards in assigned area
- Efficiently build multiple product types
- Full operation of equipment, where assigned
- Operator-level cleaning and maintenance for their assigned area
- Depending on assigned area, may include basic controls testing functions, quality verifications, and non-vibration testing, brazing functions
- Conform to all safety guidelines while performing duties and operating equipment
- Wear the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) for the position
- Support daily and monthly production goals and targets
- Utilize SOPs and Standard Work Instructions to complete work
- Contribute to safety and process improvement initiatives
- Learn SAP/ MII / MES Processes
- Demonstrate reliability and ownership of assigned processes
- Identify work to be performed via SAP or MII work center priority
- Perform physical material movements
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with 5S and lean initiatives
- Cross-train within department
- Help train new production team members as assigned

Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED preferred
- 12 months prior manufacturing experience required
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old
- Effective verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- High focus on quality and safety
- Proficient math, reading, and computer skills
- Intermediate skill in reading and interpreting blueprints, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematic reading
- Intermediate skills in the use of basic, pneumatic, and power tools
- Able to read measuring devices
- Able to safely operate equipment, which may include material movement equipment such as overhead lifting devices, forklifts, etc.
Compensation & Benefits
- Minimum starting rate of $26.84/hour, with regular increases reaching $31.11/hour
- An additional shift premium of $2/hour applies for 2nd and 3rd shift

Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Position requires ability to move with ease in the production area; possess physical strength and stamina to remain in stationary/standing position for prolonged periods
- Use hands and fingers for potentially repetitive handling, gripping, and manipulating product, tools, and equipment
- Position oneself to complete work including bending, balancing, twisting, rotating, stooping, climbing, moving over uneven surfaces
- Push, pull and reach
- Lift, carry, move or position objects up to 50 pounds regularly
- Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with potential exposure to operating machinery with moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, forklift and crane operations, and vibration as well as varied exposure to noise
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety toed footwear required
- Additional PPE may be required based upon work
- This is a safety-sensitive position, and impairment while performing the tasks or duties of this role could pose a health and safety risk to both the individual performing the tasks as well as those around them
- Dependent upon location, the facility may or may not be a climate-controlled plant which could result in varied hot and cold temperatures swings at times
