Oil Lab Technician

Job Purpose

The Oil Lab Technician is responsible for the testing and documentation of transformer insulating fluids.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Frequent kneeling, bending, standing, crouching, and lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work safely, accurately, and efficiently both independently and as part of a small team
• Willingness to work overtime when necessitated by laboratory workload
• Professional experience working in a laboratory setting is a plus but not required

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or related field of science (preferred)
• Strong skills working with computers and digital testing equipment, including efficient data entry

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is between $18.00 - $25.00 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
