Oil & Gas Land Project Lead IV

Help keep critical land operations moving across the DJ Basin during an important period of transition. As a temporary contractor on the Rockies Land team, you’ll use your oil and gas land expertise to resolve ownership questions, strengthen data accuracy, and support decisions across a range of land and business initiatives. Overview This 5–6 month contract role is based in Denver, Colorado, with a 9/80 work schedule. You’ll provide project and operational support for DJ Basin land activities, partnering with teams across the organization to address ownership, title, post-production, and land administration matters. Compensation: $90–$95 per hour Key Responsibilities Research and resolve post-production ownership questions and discrepancies.Use Quorum Land Management to review ownership records, leases, contracts, and related land data.Support ownership verification for producing and development assets.Compile, analyze, and maintain land and ownership information for special projects and business initiatives.Review title and ownership documentation, including title opinions, assignments, conveyances, leases, and ownership records.Identify and help resolve land-related issues.Coordinate with Land, Division Order, Revenue, Operations, Regulatory, and Legal teams to support business needs.Assist with reports, presentations, and management requests.Provide surge capacity for the DJ Land team during staffing transitions and role backfills. Must-Have At least 8 years of oil and gas land experience.Significant experience supporting DJ Basin assets.Strong understanding of mineral ownership, leasehold ownership, title, division order, curative, and post-production ownership matters.Working knowledge of Quorum Land Management.Experience reviewing leases, title opinions, assignments, conveyances, and ownership records.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
