About the role

State Parties are responsible for building the infrastructure necessary for successful candidate campaigns up and down the ballot. Over the last few years, Ohio Democrats built a year-round organizing model driven by local community activists and volunteers. Ohio Dems are testing new approaches.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with local community activists and volunteers
  • Organize events and campaigns to support Democratic candidates
  • Engage with voters to build grassroots support
  • Coordinate with other party members and volunteers
  • Support the development and implementation of campaign strategies

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in political organizing or related field preferred

  • Knowledge of Ohio politics and issues
