Ohana Cafe Cook - Full time

About the role

The Ohana Café Cook supports daily cafeteria production and contributes to banquet-style bulk cooking. This position focuses on consistent execution of high-volume recipes, proper food handling, batch preparation, and maintaining the steady workflow required for employee-meal operations. The role builds on speed, accuracy, organization, and the ability to produce large-format dishes while ensuring quality and freshness throughout service periods.

What You Will Do

• Prepares high-volume menu items (soups, vegetables, proteins, rice, noodles, sauces, salads, etc.)
• Executes cafeteria and banquet prep items accurately and consistently
• Adheres to all recipe standards and plating/presentation requirements for buffet-style service
• Properly cools, reheats, and stores batch items to maintain quality and food safety

What You Bring

• 1–2 years of culinary experience, preferably in high-volume, cafeteria, or banquet environments
• Understanding of basic cooking methods and safe food-handling procedures
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and production schedules
• Demonstrated reliability, organization, and willingness to learn
• Ability to multitask, stay calm, and adjust priorities during peak periods

Schedule & Hours

The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need.
