Offloader - Final Mile

Responsibilities

• Include, but are not limited to, the following additional responsibilities will be assigned by our management leaders.
• Ensure items are assembled according to the manufacturer’s directions.
• Perform a minimum daily offloading output as provided by the management.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace and environment.
• Use equipment properly to ensure the safety of all team members.
• Execute the placement of delivery items as specified by the management.
• Communicate effectively and work professionally alongside co-workers.
• Embrace the Werner Final Mile Values.
• A continuous pattern of regular and prompt attendance is required in addition with the ability to work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• A high school graduate or equivalent experience.
• One plus years of transportation / Logistics / customer product assembly / delivery of furniture or appliances, or experience with a moving company.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Able to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Speak English and communicate with coworkers and read assembly instructions.

• Seeing and hearing: Read documents, 75-100 %
• Communicate in person. 100%
• Standing and walking. 0-75 %
• Climbing, stooping, squatting, and kneeling. 0-75 %
• Dexterity: utilizing hand Dolly / Hand Cart 75-100 %
• Lift more than 50-80 pounds. 75-100 %
