Offloader - Final Mile

Responsibilities

• Unload tractor trailer loads of furniture and stage items for deliveries.
• Ensure items are assembled according to manufacturer directions.
• Report any defects or damages immediately to management.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace and environment.
• Properly dispose of all waste accumulated during the assembly process.
• Use equipment properly to ensure the safety of all team members.
• Follow delivery processes to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Report all customer satisfaction issues to management.
• Communicate effectively, get along with co-workers, customers, and supervisors.
• Absorb and follow the Werner Final Mile Values.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent experience.
• One plus years of experience in transportation, logistics, customer product assembly, or delivery of furniture or appliances, or experience with a moving company.
• Able to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Speak English and communicate with coworkers and read assembly instructions.
