Primary Job Duties
- Maintain the health and safety of Resorts World K9
- Maintain the upkeep of K-9 Kennels and Transportation Kennel
- Respond to unattended packages alert security management if needed
- Respond to emergency situations
- Work closely with law enforcement personnel to ensure safety to the property
- Prepare written incident reports and documentation
- Operate company vehicles
- Complete a 40hr Security Academy within 30 days of hire
- Pass quarterly K-9 training and yearly certification
- Knowledge of Radio calls/Manage emergency calls
- Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
- Perform other job-related duties as requested
Qualifications
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays
- Preferred: Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting
- Minimum Education And Experience: Minimum high school diploma
- At least 21 years old
- 2 yrs. previous K-9 handling experience
- Preferred: Military/K9 handler experience
- Certificates, Licenses, Regulations: Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Able to obtain the following: Nevada Gaming Registration, Alcohol Awareness Card, Nevada Drivers’ License, CPR Physical
Demands
- Prolonged standing/walking
- Bending and reaching
- Transporting, pushing, pulling, lifting and maneuvering items weighing up to 25 lbs
- Eye/hand coordination
Physical Demands
- Must be physically fit enough to pick up K9 in any emergency
- Must be able to sprint and run under emergency situation with K9
- Tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality
- Comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (SDS) and other instructions
