Officer, Rancheria Security

Responsibilities

• Maintain and secure Rancheria Reservation fixed post entry gates, off site properties, access to remote Reservation areas and dispatch calls for appropriate personnel.
• Perform security patrols; enforce Rancheria badge procedures, protect JRCR / Rancheria property from unlawful trespassers, theft, sabotage, fire and accidents.
• Provide needed assistance to customers, employees and visitors.
• Enforce Rancheria rules and regulations by both customers and employees.
• Secure transportation of money between departments or outside of secured areas to Main Bank in Casino.
• Absorb and assist in various types of money drops (from outside Casino departments, such as R.V. Park, General Store, etc.).
• Respond to emergencies, problems and disputes when needed.
• Review all company/department policies and procedures and learn standard and custom radio codes.
• Know and maintain the location of all departments and emergency exits and posts in the event of an emergency.
• Operate telephones.
• Dispatch personnel when working posts.
• Establish and maintain record and identification systems.
• Generate incident and information reports.
• Keep equipment in good working condition.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Qualifications

• Ca. Class C Drivers license required - Must be vehicle insurable through JRCR’s Agent.

Benefits

• Shift Differential: Non-Exempt employees will receive a $1.00 per hour shift differential for any hours worked between 1000pm and 600am.

Pay

$19.00 - $24.70 per hour
