Office Technician I

About the Role

As a Construction Survey Technician, you will support office and field staff by processing incoming information and producing final construction surveying project deliverables. You will report to the Project Manager and perform technical tasks utilizing the latest technology in the A/E/C industry. Your role will help increase construction survey project efficiency and client satisfaction by processing data according to SAM standards, evaluating accuracy and sufficiency, and ensuring compliance with applicable construction surveying projects and industry principles under the direction of your supervisor.

• Monitoring field crew’s production and quality assurance
• Carrying out initial QC of field deliverables according to standards and best practices
• Coordinating with supervisor to ensure client-specific demands are being met

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of relevant experience required
• Strong computer and technical skills; AutoCAD Civil 3D is required; similar applications are a plus
• Proficiency in technical math; Geometry and Trigonometry are a plus
• Ability to read and understand construction plans
• An eye for detail and willingness to learn
• Time management is a plus, as well as flexibility between tasks
