Responsibilities
- Perform advanced survey computations, data processing, and CAD drafting for boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction surveys.
- Interpret deeds, plats, and title documents to support boundary resolution and legal descriptions.
- Lead or support QA/QC reviews of survey deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to define scope, resolve technical issues, and deliver high-quality work.
- Mentor junior surveyors and field staff, providing technical guidance and training.
- Participate in internal technical or cultural groups and contribute to process improvements or new technology adoption.
- Maintain accurate records of field data, project documentation, and survey workflows.
- Demonstrate initiative by seeking out more complex tasks and contributing to team engagement activities.
Requirements
- Associates degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering Technology, or Natural Resource Management with a Land Surveying Technology concentration
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5+ years of relevant survey experience
- Proficient with MicroStation, Open Roads, and GeoPak
- OH Professional Surveyor license preferred
- AutoCAD experience required
- DOT right-of-way prequel designer/reviewer preferred
- Proven ability to collaborate and work as an effective part of a team

Pay
The starting salary for this position is $100,000, with final compensation determined based on qualifications, experience, and licensing status.
