Office Support Generalist
Position Details
The Department of Nursing is seeking a dynamic, organized, and customer-service oriented individual to support both the Nursing Front Office and Simulation Lab operations.
- Create a welcoming and professional environment for students, faculty, staff, and guests
- Aid in the preparation and operation of clinical simulation experiences for undergraduate and graduate nursing programs
- Work in a fast-paced academic environment
- Occasionally work evenings or non-traditional hours to support simulation activities
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Associate’s degree with one to three years of related experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a diverse population
- Effective interpersonal communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Effective writing and organizational skills
- Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet applications
- Working knowledge of software applications used to support office functions and familiarity with Internet resources
Desirable Qualifications
- Proficiency with Excel and Outlook
- Customer service skills and experience
Anticipated Pay Range
$24.00 - $27.00 per hour
Special Conditions
- Probationary period may be required
- Occasional evening and/or weekend work (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime)
- This position is ineligible for telework due to the essential functions
- Background Check required for this position
