Faculty Affairs supports faculty throughout all stages of their academic careers. The department manages faculty-related administrative processes that sustain academic operations. Work involves faculty process management, documentation, and coordination of academic administration activities.
About the role
As the backbone of our office operations, you'll play a vital role in supporting faculty members throughout their diverse and rewarding careers. This is a fully in-person position where you'll work alongside a friendly, dedicated team that values collaboration, professionalism, and mutual support.
- Be the welcoming face of our office by greeting visitors, answering calls, and providing helpful information to faculty and campus community members
- Coordinate engaging events from start to finish—including scheduling, logistics, materials preparation, catering, and setup
- Provide critical support by managing calendars, organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting important discussions
- Keep operations running smoothly through tracking forms, maintaining organized records, and ensuring clear communication with on- and off-campus partners
- Manage office resources including supply procurement, budget reconciliation, and processing campus financial forms
- Support recognition and excellence by assisting with campus awards processes that celebrate faculty achievements
- Leverage technology to update web content, create informative materials, develop surveys, and analyze data using Excel
- Contribute your ideas and take on additional meaningful projects that align with your strengths and interests

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired
Qualifications
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining meticulous attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal abilities and a genuine enjoyment of working with diverse groups of people
- Proficiency with technology including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and virtual collaboration tools like Zoom
- Experience supporting senior-level professionals with complex scheduling, travel coordination, meeting preparation, and data synthesis
- Discretion and professionalism with the ability to handle confidential information with the utmost integrity
- Adaptability and initiative with strong analytical and time management capabilities
Pay
The anticipated hiring range for this position is $18.00 hourly. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
