Office Registered Nurse - Green Mountain Family Practice (GMFP)

The Office Registered Nurse, under the general supervision of the providers and the Clinical Office Supervisor, is responsible for providing optimal patient care, being accessible to patients, maintaining a high level of knowledge, and working amicably with other staff members. This role focuses on telephone triage, managing patient calls to determine urgency, required staff or provider response, appropriate care location, and appointment timing. The role collaborates with the healthcare team to deliver quality care and uses critical thinking to assess patient needs.

Requirements

• Graduate from an approved Professional Nursing Education Program.
• Current RN license to practice professional nursing in the State of Vermont.
• BLS training preferred.
• One to three years of hospital or office nursing experience preferred.
