Office Receptionist
About the role
Pease Bell is a fast-growing, mid-sized public accounting firm with more than 170 professionals and a national client base. We're looking for a friendly, detail-oriented professional to serve as the first point of contact for our Fairlawn office. In this role, you'll create a warm, professional experience for clients and visitors while keeping the front office running smoothly day to day. You'll take on additional administrative responsibilities in support of various departments across the firm, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to build broad exposure within a professional services environment.
You'll play a key role in helping our team deliver quality service across a wide range of industries, from healthcare and manufacturing to nonprofit and real estate.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors warmly and direct them appropriately upon arrival.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and correspondence.
- Coordinate with marketing to order firm-sponsored meals and refreshments for meetings and events.
- Prepare and maintain meeting and conference rooms before and after each use.
- Ensure the reception area and all general areas are kept tidy, organized, and stocked with necessary materials.
- Provide general administrative support to colleagues across departments as needed.
- Assist with copying, scanning, and document management tasks.
- Provide additional administrative support to various departments across the firm as needed, based on business needs and workload.
Requirements
Experience: 1+ years in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role; experience in public accounting or another professional services environment is a plus.
Skills
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Comfortable learning and navigating firm systems and document management tools.
- Soft Skills:
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, "can-do" attitude.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage many moving pieces at once.
- Clear, professional communicator, comfortable working with staff and Partners at all levels.
