Office Operations Assistant
About the role
Manage the full patient life-cycle by greeting visitors, handling check-in/out, and scheduling or confirming appointments.
Secure necessary documentation, verify patient demographics, and obtain insurance authorizations or precertifications.
Collect co-pays, deductibles, and previous balances and reconcile reports and deposits to ensure financial accuracy.
Answer telephones, screen calls, take messages, and provide essential clerical support.

Requirements
- A high school diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Qualifications
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of healthcare policies and procedures.
