Office of Employee Benefits - Benefits Plan Manager (Health & Welfare)

About the role

The role is located within the Office of Employee Benefits (OEB) in the Newark, NJ office of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. You will support the bank's mission of promoting economic stability and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Serve as coach and support to those responsible for vendor management of System-wide benefits programs.
• Ensure self and team maintain current knowledge of and relevant certifications in legal, regulatory, plan compliance, and changes for System benefits.
• Use data to regularly recommend benefit plan strategies, evaluate plan design changes, and assess cost and participant impact.
• Lead continuous improvement in processes and identify policy enhancements and opportunities to provide appropriate benefits to the Federal Reserve System.
• Develop and lead presentations for oversight committees and Reserve Bank and Board of Governors stakeholders.
• Lead high-visibility projects with measurable outcomes.

Requirements

Eight+ years of experience preferred, at least three managing a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4 years equivalent experience.

Skills

• Experience driving an operational team toward streamlined processes, efficiency gains, and improved outcomes.
• Leadership skills to bring procedural rigor to a team.
• Knowledge of legal, regulatory, plan compliance, and changes for System benefits.
• Ability to analyze data and make recommendations for benefit plan strategies.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and overseeing multiple programs.
