Position Summary
The Office Nurse (RN) is responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality care to the patients in accordance with individual needs, provider orders and standards of care, as represented through the patient care policies. Provides direct and indirect professional nursing care for patients. Assesses patient and family needs, develops a plan of care, implements and evaluates the care delivered.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducts Phone Triage, responds to My Chart Messages in Electronic Medical Record and develops plan of care.
- Contacts patients with lab, x-ray, and imaging results and documents phone calls.
- Promotes accident prevention and reports potential hazards to maintain a safe environment.
- Responds to emergency situations and contacts emergency services as directed by providers.
- Evaluates patients who have concerns about decreased fetal movements and communicates findings to providers.
- Provides patient education as appropriate to situation.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in a clinic or hospital setting.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience as an RN.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in women’s health.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in phone triage.
- CURRENT Oregon State Registered Nurse license.
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS.
