About the role
The Office Manager supports senior level roles in a variety of complex administrative and office functions, as well as specialized technical support for academic or administrative departments.
Responsibilities
- Serves as the front-facing point of contact for the day-to-day operations of the housing office.
- Provides clerical, customer service, and computer support for the office, including word processing, reception, ID card creation, and generating reports and rosters.
- Maintains confidential information about residential students; including room assignments, meal plans, and housing applications/contracts.
- Tracks spending, purchases department needs, and reconciles budget for final review, while helping to maintain vendor relationships.
Requirements
- Associate's degree and five years of relevant work experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with advanced computer literacy with spreadsheet and database experience.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.
- Experience with budget management, account reconciliation, and report creation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and professional telephone etiquette.
- Ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of people and at all levels.
