Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and administrative functions of the St. Louis office
- Maintain a consistent onsite presence to support attorneys, professional staff, visitors, and office operations
- Coordinate and oversee schedules and coverage for professional staff, including Legal Secretaries and Case Assistants
- Partner with attorneys and firm leadership to address staffing, workflow, and operational needs
- Aid in onboarding and training coordination for new employees within the office
- Coordinate office meetings, events, vendor relationships, supplies, and facility-related matters
- Serve as a liaison between the St. Louis office and firmwide administrative departments, including Human Resources, Recruiting, IT, and Operations
- Monitor and assist with office budgets, invoices, and administrative expenses as needed
- Ensure office compliance with firm policies, procedures, and operational standards
- Handle sensitive employee and firm information with a high level of confidentiality and discretion
- Assist with special projects and process improvements as the office and firm continue to grow
Qualifications
- Prior office management, operations, legal administration, or professional services management experience required
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Professional presence with the ability to interact effectively with attorneys, staff, clients, and firm leadership
- Ability to manage time-sensitive matters with urgency and attention to detail
- Strong leadership skills with a collaborative and service-focused mindset
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn firm systems and software
