Office Manager
Qualifications
- Supervise all front desk staff and volunteer staff.
- Oversee schedule of all management and support staff.
- Ensure that all authorizations and billing sheets are completed.
- Track clients that use SCSC services and coordinate outreach efforts.
- Avoidance of non-compliance with Corporate Compliance standards.
- Ensure Privacy Act Notices and HIPPA notices are completed and properly uploaded into EHR system.
- Maintain program productivity by ensuring all referrals and supporting documents are uploaded into HER system.
- Work weekends and evenings as needed to cover front desk during staff absences.
- Order all program and office supplies; manage SCSC petty cash and other routine expenditures.
- Provide maintenance staff with instructions and guidance.
- Report repair needs to Central Maintenance.
- Troubleshoot consumer entitlements problems as related to Medicaid Eligibility.
- Review monthly encounter data to determine readiness for review by Quality Assurance (QA) and for submission to SUS third party billing vendor.
- Facilitate communication between Billing Specialist in Finance Department and Providers to correct any coding issues in EHR identified in Issue Tracker and/or Denials.
- Develop expertise in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) to provide training and support to new and existing staff.
- Respond to consumer needs promptly, accurately and with courtesy and respect.
- Represent the organization in a positive and appropriate manner to outside resources.
- Support the mission and values of SUS and draw attention to behavior that undermines group effectiveness or is inconsistent with core values.
