Responsibilities
- Direct the day-to-day administrative functions of the office to ensure a smooth and well-organized work environment.
- Cook up staff assignments, monitor progress on deliverables, and help keep deadlines and priorities on track across the office.
- Manage scheduling, attendance coordination, and daily coverage needs so that business operations remain properly supported.
- Supervise administrative and legal support activities to promote timely communication, accurate work, and consistent follow-through.
- Maintain practical methods for tracking tasks, project timelines, and internal responsibilities to improve visibility and accountability.
- Partner with attorneys to help align support resources with workload demands and ensure status updates are communicated clearly.
- Aid in onboarding and training efforts by reinforcing office procedures, service expectations, and established workflows.
- Handle front-office and operational needs such as reception support, supply management, and coordination of routine office purchases and accounts payable tasks.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in office management, administrative support, or a closely related role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage office operations, coordinate multiple priorities, and maintain an organized workplace.
- Experience supporting professionals in a fast-paced business setting; prior law firm experience is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with common office technology and the ability to learn and use administrative systems effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the professionalism to interact confidently with staff, attorneys, and clients.
- Solid attention to detail, dependability, and the initiative to address issues before they affect daily operations.
- Experience handling office supply management, reception-related duties, and accounts payable responsibilities.
