About the role
The Office Manager oversees daily operations in a Helzberg Diamonds retail store, guiding and leading staff to meet sales and profit targets.
Responsibilities
- Ensure procedural compliance for all transactions in line with company policies and procedures.
- Implement company programs and initiatives such as extended warranty sales, in-store signage, pricing, and merchandising tagging.
- Provide direction, leadership, and motivation to assist the store in achieving its sales and profit goals.
- Achieve personal sales and extended warranty goals by working on the sales floor.
- Assist the Store Manager with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new employees.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One to three years of retail office experience.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Experience selling in a commission environment.
- Knowledge of using a PC or POS system or other computer keyboard.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
