About the Role
DSG is seeking an Office Manager in our Minot, ND location. In this full time, hourly position, work typically ranges between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday, but may vary on occasion according to business needs.
Responsibilities
- Maintain responsibility for the overall success of our phone system through answering and directing calls in a courteous and professional manner while working to improve on-hold time, incoming ring time, and overall customer calling experience
- Manage customer, vendor, and other visitors’ experience to our branch including greeting customers/visitors, directing them to the appropriate person/area or responds to their inquiries
- Oversee planning and coordination of customer and employee events
- Assist with processing and organizing Vendor Rebates and Returns
- Balance cash drawer and prepare bank deposit and daily EDIT report
- Operate and maintain office equipment and supplies
- Create/Update spreadsheets and databases as requested by the branch manager
- Assist Operations Manager and Branch Manager on other administrative duties, such as managing special projects
- Care for general maintenance and repair projects, office furniture, filing system, and manage some branch communications as needed
- Identify work procedures in a priority manner, prioritize workflow and communicate priorities effectively with associates
- Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist associates in solving work problems
- Manage office access including opens and closes of the building and ensure security, cleanliness, and overall professional environment
Requirements
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2-4 years’ experience in a general office setting
- Outstanding interpersonal, customer service and communication skills across a variety of settings (in-person, phone, and email)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong attention to detail, paired with the ability to multi-task
