About the role
The Practice Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the healthcare practice. This position is responsible for overseeing daily administrative functions, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The Practice Manager will also be instrumental in optimizing patient flow and enhancing the overall patient experience. By implementing effective policies and procedures, the Practice Manager will contribute to the financial health of the practice while maintaining high standards of care. Ultimately, this role is vital for fostering a productive and supportive environment for both staff and patients.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the healthcare practice, ensuring efficient workflow and patient satisfaction.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to build a cohesive and effective team.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA and OSHA requirements.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and patient care.
- Maintain financial performance, including budgeting, billing, and revenue cycle management.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in a healthcare management role.
- Preferred qualifications: Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and practice management software.
