About the role
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide nursing care within the physician clinic under the supervision of a physician or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).
Responsibilities
- Assesses and plans nursing care for patients.
- Implements nursing care as directed by the physician or APRN.
- Participates in patient and family teaching sessions.
- Maintains the role of patient advocate, aligning with the hospital’s mission.
- Coordinates with clinical staff to manage patient flow and operational tasks as directed by the physician.
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Ohio.
- Certified Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Two (2) or more years of previous experience in a physician office setting preferred.
