About the role
The Office & Engagement Coordinator plays a key role in creating a welcoming, organized, and vibrant workplace. This position blends hands-on office operations with employee experience initiatives, supporting both the day-to-day functionality of our physical space and the broader company culture.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for the office dog, including walks, bathroom breaks, and exercise
- Support appropriate socialization in a safe, office-appropriate manner
- Monitor the dog’s well-being and communicate concerns as needed
- Curate and maintain snack and beverage offerings
- Care for and coordinate with local vendors including coffee and water services
- Support employee appreciation initiatives and in-office experiences
- Help foster a welcoming and inclusive office environment
- Support office operations and facilities
- Assist with office layout changes and space coordination
- Support furniture moves, installations, and general upkeep
- Partner with IT, facilities, and external vendors as needed
- Aid in planning and executing company-wide events
- Support all-staff meetings, volunteer initiatives, and engagement programs
- Cover logistics for offsite events including vendor communication and setup
- Ensure events are organized, engaging, and aligned with company culture
- Provide day-to-day support to the Workplace Experience Manager and Director of Impact & Engagement
- Contribute to special projects and evolving team initiatives
Requirements
- Genuine love of dogs and comfort handling them in an office environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Self-starter mindset with ability to take initiative while following direction
- Team-oriented attitude with a positive and service-focused approach
- Willingness to occasionally work outside standard business hours
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Some college coursework or bachelor’s degree preferred
