About the role
Tri Pointe Homes DC Metro is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic Office Coordinator/Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact, you will greet visitors by phone and in person, provide administrative support, and serve as the division/brand single point of contact for team members, new hires, vendors, and guest inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Offer a positive and friendly first impression as you greet clients, guests, and visiting team members.
- Answer incoming calls, determine caller’s needs, and route to the appropriate department.
- Act as the division/brand single point of contact for all team members, new hires, vendors, and guest inquiries.
- Proactively address and answer questions.
- Assist in scheduling/coordinating conference rooms and meetings; ensure they are cleaned and organized.
- Maintain the upkeep of the lobby, including visitor sign-in and replenishing kitchen, copier room, and other supplies.
- Order supplies from Office Depot or Costco as needed.
- Assist with catering orders for meetings and events, including setup and cleanup.
- Act as a utility player by assisting with various administrative projects.
- Manage access cards with the parking garage company, order/distribute parking validations, and coordinate extended parking requests.
- Accept and distribute daily deliveries, manage daily mail (PO Box and interoffice), and handle shipment labels and carrier pickups.
- Order and maintain shipping supplies for the office.
- Assist with office maintenance or repair requests and coordinate visits with building management.
- Maintain and distribute Home Office lists monthly or as needed.
- Set up new hire desks and clean out terminated employee desks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience is required.
- Customer service experience is required.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to sit for long periods in a single area.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task while maintaining composure and professionalism.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new software.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills, both internally and externally.
Pay
The expected base salary range for this position is $18.22 to $26.49 per hour ($37,900 to $55,100 per year), depending on experience and skillset. Base salary is paid bi-weekly, every other Friday.
This position is eligible for an annual performance-based cash bonus, calculated and paid in accordance with the company’s incentive plan.
