The Office Coordinator acts as co-owner of the Retail Store Operational Plan and is responsible for ensuring that store objectives are met while directing all activities in the office. This role involves maintaining inventory controls, enforcing guidelines for merchandise transfers, and maintaining awareness of security issues. The Office Coordinator works closely with the General Manager, Operations Manager, and/or Floor Manager in all aspects of store operations, as well as with other functional heads to achieve company objectives.
Responsibilities
- Accurately manage the operational activities of the store, including special orders, design-in-service, repair orders, product inventory, and point-of-sale entries.
- Ensure daily operational closing procedures are executed accurately, including auditing store functions such as merchandise inventory, point-of-sale, stock balancing, and documentation.
- Inspect jewelry repairs to meet company quality standards and ensure accurate log documentation.
- Manage point-of-sale transaction audits and confirm accurate documentation.
- Build strong relationships with in-store team members, home office, and guests through effective communication.
- Lead the onboarding, training, and skill development of operational team members.
- Direct team members to complete specific daily operational duties for the benefit of the store.
- Demonstrate the ability to multitask, including coaching team members, assisting guests, and completing operational duties.
- Respond promptly to guest questions and requests, working to exceed their expectations.
- Provide initial resolution to guest service matters in a positive and caring manner, enlisting support from store team members when needed.
- Model, support, and adhere to Robbins Brothers company policies, procedures, and values.
- Develop and implement effective succession plans for modeling, support, and adherence to company values.
Qualifications
- Attention to detail and precision orientation.
- Understanding of computer systems.
- Ability to lead and direct a small team.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with guests via telephone, email, text, and in person.
