About the role
The Office Coordinator works Monday - Thursday from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. (Cancer Navigators office hours). The position also assists with outreach and occasionally works night and weekend events/outreach opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements personal and professional goals and promotes professional growth.
- Assists in the ongoing development of the Rehab/Occupational Services department and program through defining the philosophy and objectives, performance improvement, policy and procedure development, marketing, etc. as requested.
- Participates in one Rehab work group.
- Assists in professional growth of co-workers through providing cross training and program development (i.e. conducts one in-service/year, acts in mentor role, etc.).
- Participates in two department and/or hospital education, promotion and/or advocacy activities within the community.
- Maintains an Efficient and Effective Work Schedule
- Maintains workload that is consistent with other staff members including distribution of patients to other staff.
- Utilizes allotted time and resources effectively to accomplish goals.
- Able to prioritize and/or reorganize workload in response to stat or heavy workload.
- Offers assistance to coworkers.

- Maintains and Completes Documentation According to Established Guidelines
- Identifies important information and brings to someone’s attention.
- Follows up with person to make sure needs were met.
- Typing letters, reports, presentations, etc. as requested.
- Performs general office duties.
- Counsistsently orders, organizes and monitors office and clinical supplies within budget allowances.
- Performs filing, copying, etc.
- Maintains employee related records to satisfy hospital/practice requirements including education, PI, competencies, ETO, etc.
- Works closely with the Coordinator and staff to organize and schedule meetings and maintain minutes.
- Compiles Occupational Health Services activity reports.
- Maintains Occupational Health Services expense reports.
- Enters charges into financial system and reports financial information.
- Maintains copies for departmental records.
- Consistently monitors accuracy.
- Maintains the health database for account and marketing purposes.
- Serves as Stolas System Administrator to provide support to other departments/practices and coordinates revision with IS as needed.
- Communicates with team members and customers in a manner that can be understood by the population served.
Qualifications
- Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel and email.
- Office experience to include filing, faxing, phones and other basic office functions.
Skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Pay and Schedule
Pay Range: $22.90 - $34.35
