What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Welcome and orient new primary care patients and members
- Aid patients in selecting their Primary Care Provider (PCP) and activating MyChart accounts
- Care for initial appointments and manage outreach lists for new patients
- Request and manage external medical records, ensuring accurate documentation
- Collaborate with team members to triage calls and support patient needs
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- A high school diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in an administrative capacity
- The ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting/carrying and keyboard use
- Strong communication skills for interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Must be punctual and available for scheduled work shifts
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience in a healthcare setting providing administrative support
- Familiarity with patient onboarding processes and medical record management
- Proficiency in using healthcare software and MyChart functionalities
