Office Assistant / Receptionist (PRN)

About the role
We are seeking a professional, personable, and detail-oriented Office Assistant to provide administrative support and ensure the smooth operation of the front office. This role involves creating a welcoming environment for clients, visitors, and staff in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors warmly, ensuring they feel comfortable and directing them to the appropriate attorney or department.
- Provide administrative support, including filing, faxing, photocopying, and organizing legal documents.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail, deliveries, and packages; prepare outgoing mail and couriers.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in all dealings with clients, documents, and sensitive information.
- Assist legal assistants and paralegals with scheduling meetings, filing documents, and other clerical tasks.
- Ensure the reception area is presentable and maintains a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
- Handle other projects as assigned.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Previous experience as a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role is preferred.
- Experience working in a law firm or legal setting is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours/week onsite. FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt. Reports to: Human Resources. Location: Princeton, NJ.
Pay
$22–$25/hour.
