About the role

Perform general office clerical tasks guided by detailed and specific instruction. Responsible for first contact with all consumers and outside prospects.

Responsibilities

  • Researches and maintains consumer insurance information, as needed
  • Completes data entry for consumer billing
  • Maintain, monitor and update consumer records
  • Performs other clerical duties (i.e., typing, filing, distributing mail, providing information, etc.)
  • Affords receptionist duties (i.e., answering phones, greeting customers)

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED + 1 year of related clerical experience
  • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets and other computer applications
  • Ability to pass skills test as applicable

Qualifications

Knowledge of office practices and procedures. Skilled in word processing, spreadsheets and other computer applications. Ability to perform basic accounting functions. Effective oral and written communication skills.
