Position Details
Exceptional customer service and communication skills are required as this position manages the front desk in the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. Must be an organized, self-starter with strong communication skills, attention to detail, follow through, and the ability to multitask in a positive team environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school graduation or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Four years general office work including some experience in prioritizing work and meeting deadlines.
- Possess the keyboarding skills necessary to perform successfully in the position.
- Able to operate standard office equipment.
- Able to effectively interact with the public, students, faculty, and staff.
- Knowledge of proper grammar, spelling and punctuation and the ability to utilize proper standard office source manuals.
- Able to compose correspondence.
- Able to deal effectively with people under stress.
- Able to perform the functions consistent with intermediate word processing and intermediate spreadsheet applications as demonstrated by a skills assessment.

Position Purpose
