Office Assistant Float/Outpatient Clinic/Full-time Employment/South Florida
About the role
Candidate should have at least an associate degree (AA). Candidates with bachelor’s degree will be preferred. At least three years of experience in a health care setting, preferably in an outpatient clinic setting.
Responsibilities
- Giving coverage in time of need to offices in South Florida with base location at Hallandale Beach office.
- Greet patients, check them in/out, and direct them to appropriate departments or waiting areas.
- Accepting in-bound calls and making outbound calls to the patients.
- Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of office spaces and waiting areas.
- Monitoring and replenishing office supplies and medical forms, coordinating maintenance and repair of office equipment.
- Aiding in communicating appointment reminders, test results, and other pertinent information to patients.
- Adhering to clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA) in all administrative activities.
