Office Assistant
Primary Responsibilities
- Affords assistance with routine clerical/office tasks, including answering telephone calls and delivering messages.
- Pulls, reviews, and follows up on reports of orders, recert and unverified visits.
- Maintains an up-to-date medical record by scanning documents timely and completing EOE audits as appropriate.
- Completes discharge chart reviews, performs audits, processes orders to/from physicians, and tracks for timely receipt.
- Communicates professionally within the organization and with external sources (physicians, patients, family members, referral sources, etc.).
Required Qualifications
- Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
- Computer skills, clerical-business machine skills, telephone communication skills, and ability to type.
- General clerical skills and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Able to work independently and as a team member.
Pay and Benefits
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $21.65 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
