About the role
HF Foods Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: HFFG), headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada, is a leading distributor of international foodservice solutions to Asian restaurants and other businesses across the United States. This Office Assistant position supports daily office operations and requires bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish to assist Spanish-speaking employees and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors, providing directions and assistance as needed.
- Handle administrative duties, including typing, filing, sorting, and distributing mail.
- Answer, forward, and screen phone calls, taking messages when necessary.
- Manage day-to-day facilities operations, including purchasing office supplies, furniture, and equipment.
- Assist with preparing correspondence to clients and support internal/external HR inquiries.
- Coordinate training sessions, seminars, orientations, and new staff record updates.
- Support performance management procedures and assist with payroll processing.
- Schedule conferences, appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
- Perform data entry for various systems and databases.
- Participate in and support company projects and events.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional administrative support experience in a professional office environment (preferred).
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Work Conditions
- Office and warehouse environment with occasional standing or sitting for extended periods.
- Required wearing of appropriate PPE.
- Exposure to hot/cold weather and loud noises in a warehouse setting.
- Frequent computer and telephone use, with regular communication throughout the day.
