About the role

Children's Home Healthcare is hiring an Office Assistant in Van Alstyne, TX. The position is Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm at 293 W Van Alstyne Pkwy, Van Alstyne, TX 75495.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage all schedules to meet the client’s approved hours and needs.
  • Responsible for taking 'on-call' to provide 24/7 access to caregivers and clients on a rotating basis.
  • Responsible for recruiting, including reviewing resumes, pre-screening applicants, and ensuring the office staff is supplied with potential job candidates who will meet and fulfill the needs of the agency.
  • Interviewing and scheduling meetings with potential clients.
  • Manage telephone calls using proper telephone etiquette and transferring out.
  • Aid with the onboarding of new hires and case assignments.
  • Maintain employee and customer service relations and satisfaction at all times.
  • Assist with the agency's survey process and data collection.
  • Manage and maintain an accurate electronic filing system.
  • Enter all new caregiver information into the time management system(s).
  • Perform all tasks necessary to accomplish the company's payroll processing objectives.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Medical scheduling experience preferred.
  • Computer literate with data processing experience.
  • Team and service oriented.
  • High degree of independent judgment, discretion, and knowledge of company organization and policy and procedures.
  • Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record (as determined by the employer) is required for this position.
