Essential Functions

  • Provides exceptional customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors in person, by phone, and through email
  • Maintains a professional, organized, and welcoming office environment
  • Performs clerical duties including filing, scanning, copying, data entry, and document preparation
  • Affords assistance with maintaining office records, forms, and administrative documentation
  • Affords assistance with meeting preparation, including scheduling, room reservations, agenda materials, and note-taking as needed
  • Maintains office supplies as needed
  • Affords administrative support to professional staff and student leaders
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive organizational, financial, and personnel information
  • Affords administrative support to Student Association events, programs, meetings, and special projects
  • Operates standard office equipment, including but not limited to computers, printers, scanners, and copiers
  • Performs a wide range of administrative and operational tasks as assigned

Education And Experience

  • Previous office, customer service, administrative, or leadership experience preferred
  • An equivalent combination of education, experience, and involvement will be considered

Physical Requirements

  • Extensive computer use
  • Prolonged sitting, standing, bending, and movement throughout the workday
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment

  • Reports to: Director of Programs, Personnel & Finance
  • Direct Reports: This position has no direct reports
  • FLSA Status: Part-Time - 10 Month Employee
  • Rate of Pay: $17 - $19 per hour
