Offal Maintenance Mechanic C 3rd shift

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the Vision, Mission, and Values of the Organization
• Drive yard truck to move trailers in and out of offal
• Maintain operations of equipment in offal to meet the production plant requirements
• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and assist with the installation of equipment and systems used in offal processing and associated support areas of the facility
• Clean floor of product spills from conveyors before end of work shift
• Clean and sanitize inside and outside of offal to maintain clean and safe work environment
• All other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Possess superior interpersonal and communication skills
• Education and/or Experience: HS Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Knowledge/Skills: Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions in a manner that is consistent with the essential job functions
• Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A
• Physical Demands: Must have the ability to enter all areas of the plant and offices. Must be able to climb and crawl in confined spaces. Must be able to communicate with all levels of employees as well as outside vendors and government agencies.
