Description

What you will do
- Proactively identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues to support and improve efficiency of the manufacturing facilities
- Work with plant operational teams to facilitate continuous improvement efforts related to electrical and instrumentation performance
- Participate in project teams and all activities related to engineering technical support
- PLC programming, HMI programming, Vision System programming, and VFD configuration (Rockwell, Siemens, Cognex, Keyence, SEW, Lenze)
- Design and implementation of electrical systems
- Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs and applying knowledge of electricity and materials
- Confirms systems and components’ capabilities by designing testing methods
- Develops electrical products by studying customer requirements and researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials
- Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
- Reviews electrical engineering plans, specifications, and reports
- Conducts tests and inspections of electrical systems and equipment
- Collaborates with engineers and technicians
- Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests
- Maintains equipment operational by following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures and requesting repair service
- Maintains product database by writing computer programs and entering data
- Any additional reasonable request deemed necessary by management

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related technical experience with a minimum of five (5) years preferred
