About the Role

Branch's Civil Division is searching for an experienced and safety-oriented Heavy Duty Truck Driver to join our well-established, growing company. The Heavy Duty Truck Driver operates heavy-duty trucks typically designed and used for “off-road” transportation of earth, rock, or other mass or bulk materials. Equipment may include, but is not limited to, back/rear/end dump or bottom dump trucks.

Responsibilities

  • Service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment
  • Perform routine fueling, lubrication, and servicing
  • Clean equipment and work area
  • Operate controls and position truck for loading and unloading
  • Dump/off-load materials
  • Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

  • Knowledge of construction techniques
  • 1 to 3 years of heavy-duty truck driving experience
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • DOT experience preferred, but not required

  • Regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms
  • Frequently required to stand, talk, and hear
  • Occasionally required to walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste, and smell
  • Must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Pay

Salary range: $41,674.50 – $69,445. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.

Schedule

This is a full-time position typically involving 40+ hours per week. Due to the nature of the job, the employee must be available on-call for early/late hours to deal with delays, bad weather, and emergencies at the job site.
