Employment: Off-Road Tire Technician (OTR)
- Following all company policies and procedures as outlined in the current Employee Handbook
- Performing fleet checks
- Performing various mechanical functions
- Participating in training
- Operating a 30,000-pound GVW OTR Service Boom Truck
- Following established procedures to inspect tires, and wheels before and after service
- Determining repairable tire conditions and make such repairs
- Documenting work performed accurately and according to company policy
- Completing work orders in a timely manner
- Operating of heavy-duty tire service equipment and tools including boom cranes, cribbing, jacks, compressors, electric and hydraulic equipment
- Unbolting and re-bolting wheels from/to equipment, using lug wrenches and other hand and power tools
- Mounting and dismounting any type of off-the-road tire including but not limited to multi-piece rims
- Match mating of dual assemblies
- Identifying and inflating tires correctly for the size, ply, and load requirement
- Replacing valve stems and removing puncturing objects
- Performing service calls on nights and/or weekends on a rotating basis
- Proper maintenance of assigned service vehicle including appearance as well as on board service equipment and tools
- Compliance with OSHA and MSHA regulations and safety requirements pertaining to this position

Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED required
- Must have a valid driver’s license for the type of vehicle required for the position
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
- Ability to lift, push, pull heavy objects
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
