Experienced OTR Tire Tech

About the role

Purcell's Global Mining Group seeks an experienced OTR Service Tech to join our team in Western Nevada. This position requires OTR tire experience and boom (hands) truck experience, with a preference for current MSHA and TIA certifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydraulic boom arm
• Dismount and mount OTR tires on sites using the proper tools & safe procedures
• Disassemble and reassemble tires onto wheels ensuring correct size and ply
• Repair tires as needed; replacing valve stems, removing puncturing objects
• Keep service truck, tools, and equipment clean and maintained
• Capture & track site data following and ensuring their issued schedule
• Maintain standards of cleanliness, orderliness, and appearance of work area

Requirements

• OTR tire experience required
• Boom (hands) Truck experience required
• Current MSHA Certified preferred
• Current TIA ETS Certified preferred
• Valid CDL
• 3-year Clean MVR
• No DUIs & no more than 2 moving violations

Qualifications

Must have a valid CDL and a 3-year clean MVR with no DUIs and no more than 2 moving violations.

Skills

OTR tire experience, boom (hands) truck experience, MSHA certification, TIA certification, and valid CDL are required.
