About the role

The Off Premise Beer Sales Representative plays a crucial role in accelerating the growth of a premium beer brand within a dedicated territory. Key responsibilities include building strong relationships with distributors, identifying new opportunities for distribution, and executing point-of-sale programs.

Responsibilities

  • Regular travel within a dedicated territory (200-mile radius)
  • Extended travel (up to 75% of time) to additional markets
  • Data-driven approach to identify new opportunities for distribution and upsell
  • Secure multiple SKU distribution, cooler visibility, and displays
  • Develop creative solutions to meet account-specific needs
  • Maintain store shelf standards and inventory, including rotation of products, checking date codes, processing restocks and reorders
  • Execute point-of-sale (POS) programs to standard
  • Promote premium brands through special events, sampling, and education
  • Manage budget and maintain records for monthly reconciliation
  • Ensure compliance with all alcoholic beverage regulations

Requirements

  • Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • 1-3 years demonstrated sales experience, preferably of beers, wines, and spirits
  • Previous retail or off-premise work experience is a plus
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Must live in assigned territory with access to reliable transportation – large vehicle preferred
  • Valid driver's license, registered and insured vehicle with clean driving record/background check
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays, as needed
  • Ability to lift and move cases of product frequently
  • Ability to climb, kneel, and stoop to arrange and display point of sale

Pay

The base compensation range for this job classification is between $45,000.00-$55,000.00 annually. The determination of specific compensation depends on various factors including prior employment history, job-related skills and qualifications, length of service, brand program, and geographic location.

Schedule

The Off Premise Beer Sales Representative is expected to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
