Off-Campus Federal Work Study

The college has a standing posting for Work Study employees. These employees are paid from Federal Funding and vetted through the Financial Aid process. They are hired on a per-semester basis.

Requirements

• Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of the College students and employees;
• Supports the College’s mission and strategic plan initiatives;
• Subject to pre-employment background checks, including criminal history check;
• Offer of employment contingent upon the outcome of the background check;
• High school diploma or GED;
• Enrolled in at least 6 credit hours;
• Making Satisfactory Academic Progress as determined by the financial aid office;
• Financial need, as determined by the financial aid office;
